Tareef founded Chamaa Law after several years as a litigator in both the private and public sphere. Prior to founding Chamaa Law, Tareef specialized in discrimination and civil rights litigation, helping his clients recover damages for abuses they suffered. After completing a clerkship in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Essex Vicinage for the Hon. Bahir Kamil, Tareef continued to pursue his passion for public interest work, taking on a position as a Staff Attorney at Northeast New Jersey Legal Services where he specialized in consumer fraud, bankruptcy, and landlord-tenant matters. Tareef now focuses on representing businesses in all aspects of their endeavors including litigation and commercial contracts.
